Emily Chelsea Jewelry is an alternative fine jewelry brand located in Philadelphia, PA. We are shaking up the traditional engagement and wedding narrative by crafting mindfully made and unconventional custom fine jewelry in a one of a kind jewelry store environment.

 

Role: Part Time Sales and Support Specialist

 

We are hiring for a part time sales and support specialist to help and assist our clients as they shop for rings. In addition to helping our clients, we are looking for someone to support our team around the store to keep things flowing effortlessly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with customers on in house jewelry purchases, custom designs and new inquiries, while maintaining a successful closing rate. 
  • Educates customers by providing information on store products and services
  • Maintain correspondence with customers through regular follow up. 
  • Fulfill orders, including preparing and packaging customer materials.
  • Meet and track sales goals.
  • Perform store set up and closing operations, including opening and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from store safe and display areas.
  • Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep store clean, safe and inviting.
  • Receive packages according to our standard operating procedure.
  • Assist around the shop with production team and store owner.

Requirements:

  • 2 year minimum in retail; jewelry or other luxury goods a plus
  • Sales skills that include assessing customer needs, prompt follow-up on leads, consistent communication, and relationship building
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to empathize with customers and listen
  • Quick response time and follow up
  • Shares company values and supports LGBTQ+ equal rights, marriage equality, ethical practices, sustainability
  • Team player mentality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated individual who can work independently as well as with a team
  • Background or education in the jewelry industry is preferred but not required

Ideal candidate is available for immediate hire and schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays: 8:30-5:30

Thursdays: 10:30-7:30

Saturdays: 9:30-6:30
